1. Overview
By placing an order with Southern Mallee Lucerne, you agree to the following terms. We are committed to delivering quality hay products and a smooth customer experience.
2. Products & Availability
We offer Lucerne hay, oaten hay, and other fodder in a variety of bale types and sizes. All products are subject to seasonal availability and may vary slightly in appearance or composition due to natural growing conditions.
3. Orders & Pricing
- Orders must be confirmed in writing (email or text is fine).
- Prices depend on cut, bale type, quantity, and freight.
- Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
4. Payment
- Full payment is required before or on delivery, unless approved credit terms are in place.
- We accept bank transfer, cash, or card (surcharges may apply).
- Overdue accounts may incur a 5% monthly late fee.
5. Delivery & Freight
- We deliver across South Australia, including the Mallee, Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula, and metro areas.
- Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to weather or freight logistics.
- Unless otherwise arranged, unloading is the buyer’s responsibility.
6. Ownership & Risk
- Goods remain the property of Southern Mallee Lucerne until fully paid for.
- Risk (e.g., damage or loss) passes to you upon collection or delivery.
7. Returns & Quality Concerns
- Hay is a perishable product; we do not accept returns unless there's a proven issue.
- Please report any concerns within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist.
- If a refund or replacement is approved, we’ll arrange accordingly.
8. Liability
We are not liable for any loss or injury resulting from improper feeding, handling, or storage of hay after delivery. Our maximum liability is limited to the replacement value of the hay supplied.
9. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our control—such as drought, fire, machinery failure, or extreme weather.
10. Governing Law
All sales and agreements are governed by the laws of South Australia.
