Feeding Recommendations

Always feed by weight not volume

Introduce any new feeds into your horse’s diet gradually over a 1-2 week period

Horses require a minimum of 1.5% of body weight (kg) of forage per day

For example, a 300kg pony will require at least 4.5kg of forage daily or 500kg horse will require 7.5kg of forage daily

Storage Advice

Chaff is a natural product and must be stored in a cool and dry area out of direct sunlight. Once opened store in a secured feed bin. Our chaff is best used within 12 months from production date.
